Romans descend upon Glevum Park

An in-form Roman Glass St. George team will arrive at Glevum Park tomorrow, looking to continue a run of victories, whilst their hosts, Tuffley Rovers will be looking to get back to winning ways.

The Hellenic League Premier Division fixtures continue to come thick and fast for Neil Mustoe’s side and they face the Bristolians who will make the relatively short trip to Gloucester sitting ninth in the table, with games in-hand on all the teams around them, eight points ahead of Rovers, who sit eighteenth just outside the relegation places.

The game will KO at 3pm and the usual admission rates will apply. Printed copies of the match-day programme will be available at the turnstile, whilst it will also be available online.

Rovers’ Mustoe welcomes former City friends as Fairford come to Town

Tuffley Rovers’ manager, Neil Mustoe, will welcome some old friends to Glevum Park tomorrow, with former Gloucester City men Jamie Reid and Lee Randall in the opposition dugout and another former City team-mate, Jody Bevan, in the stand as Fairford Town arrive for a 7:45pm Hellenic League, Premier Division fixture on Tuesday evening.

The playing squad the visitors will bring is also likely to be full of familiar faces – with up to nine former Rovers players potentially in the squad – whilst former Rovers’ manager Rich Cox is part of the Fairford coaching team.

It promises to be an intriguing tie, as Rovers look for a return to form and the visitors look for to string together consecutive wins for just the second time this season.

The Rovers official match-day programme will be on sale at the turnstiles but the online version is available here:
